POSITION SUMMARY

The Enterprise Sales Account Executive will proactively work to network within the industry to seek new business opportunities and create various marketing strategies to achieve business objectives. The position will also mentor and train designated sales/business development staff to ensure succession planning for future business growth and opportunities. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Manage all sales operations that include but is not limited to; data analysis, sales reporting, and strategic sales planning
  • Influence customers to utilize company services and provide creative solutions to win business
  • Utilize relationship-building solid skills and flair in bringing partners that deliver value
  • Collaborate with the executive team to execute a sales goal for the region and/or implement strategic sales plans to achieve internal alignment
  • Manage and develop the lead generation team and ensure they are hitting their individual KPI’s and collective goals
  • Build, train and manage Sales Team on the Company’s Sales Process (building as we speak)
  • Coordinate and liaise between Sales Department and other sales related units
  • Collaborate with other teams to implement best practices for the sales process
  • Manage sales tools and applications
  • Meet or exceed annual net revenue forecast and ensure compliance of the Sales Team with Company standards for revenue recognition, invoicing, and receivables.

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Marketing, or related field
  • 5-7 years of B2B Freight Brokerage Sales experience
  • 3+ years of prior people management/leadership experience
  • Experience growing a Sales organization
  • Experience with the development and/or roll-out of existing Sales Training programs
  • Extensive experience with successful contract and pricing negotiation
  • Strong performance management, leadership, and problem-solving/analysis skills
  • Must have the ability to identify and resolve issues and maintain positive employee, agent, and customer relations
  • Possess knowledge and an understanding of how to track key metrics and drive decisions
  • Strong strategic thinking skills and the ability to translate that into tactical plans.
